China Willing to Work with All Sides to Resume Doha Round

A spokesperson of China's Ministry of Commerce says China is willing to work with all sides to resume the Doha Round of the WTO.

The spokesperson says the suspension of the Doha Round of global free trade talks is a regrettable move for all sides as the talks are closely related with the balanced development of the world economy. 

China to Raise Civil Servant Pay

China plans to raise the salaries of civil servants and employees of public institutions as the government begins to reform the country's income distribution system to narrow the gap between rich and poor.

In addition, the stipend standards for 30 million disabled military servicemen and family members of war heroes and military servicemen and the basic subsistence allowances for city dwellers will also be raised. 

Indonesia plans to Execute Bali Bombers in August

Indonesia planned to execute three radicals, who were sentenced to death for their implication in the Bali bombings in 2002 that killed 202 people, at the end of next month.

An Attorney General's Office spokesman reveals that it is planning at the end of August in Nusakambangan prison, while not giving further detail about the date. However, the schedule could be adjourned if there was an appeal from defendant sides, he added.

It is aimed at protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the copyright owners of musical content.
